At Accent on French our goal is to support all our students in their personal quest for academic excellence. Together we will develop the student’s personal toolbox, that is, developing the right tools to build academic success which will lead to personal success at all stages of their lives.
Accent on French specializes in IB, IBT and AP high school programs, students attending a French school, French Immersion, Extended French and Core French High school programs.
Accent on French assists students in establishing their personal goals, improving their organizational skills which will be conducive to better management of assignments and test preparation, and improving their listening and note taking skills.
Every student has a unique learning style, and our classes are designed to meet the specific needs of all our students from elementary to university levels. French Immersion and Core French students benefit from our expertise in enhancing their skills in areas of oral comprehension, grammar, reading, pronunciation and conversation. We also provide guidance in essay writing and preparation of oral and written presentations.
“An International Baccalaureate program fosters the knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable students to excel in university. The program is designed to equip students with the skills necessary for a 21st century workforce. IB students gain rigorous and balanced academic preparation, and the experience of learning how to think critically and apply what they have learned in different contexts and across disciplines.” Accent on French works with students enrolled in this challenging program while supporting and guiding them in their quest for their personal best!
The Ontario Ministry of Education: “Learning a second language strengthens the students first-language skills and enhance their critical and creative thinking abilities. The ability to communicate in another language provides students with a distinct advantage in a number of careers, both in Canada and internationally.”
